Shabnam Pourhassani is accepting new patients for:

  1. Pain Management for only certain diagnosis listed below

  2. Weekly Acupuncture during Pregnancy

  3. Cosmetic Acupuncture

  • Pain management for these conditions:

    • Musculoskeletal Pain
    • Back pain:  Including lower back pain or mid-back pain.
    • Neck pain: Often caused by strain, posture, or injuries.
    •  Muscle strains: Such as pulled muscles in the legs, arms, or back.
    • Tendinitis: Inflammation of tendons, common in shoulders, elbows, or knees.
    • Myofascial pain syndrome:   pain in muscle tissue, often with trigger points.
    • Joint Pain
    • Osteoarthritis: Pain and stiffness in joints, commonly affecting knees, hips, hands, and spine.
    •  Rheumatoid arthritis: Autoimmune inflammation causing joint pain and swelling.
    • Bursitis: Inflammation of the fluid-filled sacs cushioning joints, often in shoulders, hips, or elbows.
    • Frozen shoulder: Pain and stiffness in the shoulder joint.
    • Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis): Pain in the outer part of the elbow.
    • Plantar fasciitis: Pain in the heel or arch of the foot due to inflammation.

If you have not had a virtual, or in person appointment, in the last 3 years, you are no longer considered an established patient, you are considered a new patient.

Individuals who receive the chill-me-out! service are not considered patients, since no medical or health condition are treated or evaluated. You can read more about that service here.

Pourhassani does not evaluate or treat fibromyalgia, in the outpatient setting, Dr. Mehvar OMD, LAc has great results treating fibromyalgia, including  many cases were fibromyalgia has been reversed for patients who have followed the treatment recommendations. Shabnam Pourhassani is only accepting patients for certain pain conditions, weekly acupuncture during pregnancy, and cosmetic acupuncture for worry lines, in the outpatient setting. 

Additional conditions she may treat that are not listed above are not currently available to the general public, as the associated fees may be cost-prohibitive for most individuals. These services are reserved for those with specific needs and access to extended resources.
