FEES
- Acupuncture and Electro-Acupuncture have different fees
- Common sense: acupuncture fee for ankle sprain is not the same as acupuncture for paralysis.
- Acupuncture fees are only for acupuncture and are billed per 15 minutes. Acupuncture does not include anything listed below, or anything that is not listed which is not acupuncture.
- Nutritional counseling
- Emotional Counseling
- Moxibustion has an additional fee
- Supplement review, recommendation, monitoring, herb-drug interaction.
- Meditation, Stress Management Resilience Training, Mindfulness training, education and trouble-shooting.
- Self-care management education/training.
- Patients who may require direct contact with the doctor will be set up with OhMD to text, and their credit cards will be on file for billing.
- Any other service not listed here will be charged separately.
- No show and late cancellations are charged at full price.
- The following services are not included with acupuncture and incur additional fees:
- Preparing to see the patient, such as reviewing tests.
- Obtaining or reviewing separately obtained history.
- Performing an appropriate orthopedic exam or evaluation.
- Counseling and educating the patient, family, or caregiver.
- Ordering tests or procedures.
- Referring and communicating with other healthcare professionals.
- Documenting clinical information in the electronic or other health records.
- Independently interpreting results and communicating results to the patient, family, or caregiver
- Coordinating care.
- Consultation: Any new conditions to evaluate and discuss treatment options.
- Re-Evaluations: For assessing progress.
- General Questions and Advice: For inquiries requiring provider input, only if the provider determines the questions to be necessary and appropriate.
