FEES 

• Acupuncture and Electro-Acupuncture have different fees
  • Common sense: acupuncture fee for ankle sprain is not the same as acupuncture for paralysis.
• Acupuncture fees are only for acupuncture and are billed per 15 minutes.  Acupuncture does not include anything listed below, or anything that is not listed which is not acupuncture.
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Emotional Counseling
  • Moxibustion has an additional fee
  • Supplement review, recommendation, monitoring, herb-drug interaction.
  • Meditation, Stress Management Resilience Training, Mindfulness training, education and trouble-shooting.
  • Self-care management education/training.
  • Patients who may require direct contact with the doctor will be set up with OhMD to text, and their credit cards will be on file for billing.
  • Any other service not listed here will be charged separately.
  • No show and late cancellations are charged at full price.
  • The following services are not included with acupuncture and incur additional fees:
    •  Preparing to see the patient, such as reviewing tests.
    • Obtaining or reviewing separately obtained history.
    • Performing an appropriate orthopedic exam or evaluation.
    • Counseling and educating the patient, family, or caregiver.
    • Ordering tests or procedures.
    • Referring and communicating with other healthcare professionals.
    • Documenting clinical information in the electronic or other health records.
    • Independently interpreting results and communicating results to the patient, family, or caregiver
    • Coordinating care.
  • Consultation: Any new conditions to evaluate and discuss treatment options.
  • Re-Evaluations: For assessing progress.
  • General Questions and Advice: For inquiries requiring provider input, only if the provider determines the questions to be necessary and appropriate.
