Case Report: absence of a trilaminar endometrium

Without a trilaminar lining, a woman cannot conceive and carry her own baby.  The embryo requires a lot from the endometrium (the lining of the uterus) in order to implant and have a place to grow within . The absence of a trilaminar lining is not similar to a thin uterine lining, if you are a patient, please do not confuse these two issues which may lead to canceled embryo transfers.  IVF doctors do not have any means of altering the clinical presentation of a endometrium which completely lacks a tilaminar lining.

We have a robust case series of an acupuncture protocol which works in conjunction with a specific medication protocol to address thin uterine linings (which are common).

We have one isolated case report of a trilaminar lining which the miraculous was attainable with the appropriate dose of acupuncture. Before and after images of the patients ultrasound is presented here. The embryo did in fact implant into this beautiful endometrium, an uneventful pregnancy was had, and a healthy baby was born at term.

Patient had multiple reasons for experiencing infertility: no trilaminar lining, PCOS, overweight, and over the age of 35.  We are unaware if the partner was of advance paternal age.

The only alternative this couple had was to hire a surrogate to try and carry her baby for her without acupuncture and integrative services.

We do not have funding to write a proper case report for this case, nor the case series for thin uterine linings (below 6mm).
