Taper & Withdraw Program (Addiction)

Posted on May 2, 2022

Opioid Addiction is on the rise, which means more people are suffering and dying.  Deaths have quadrupled in a decade (21,089 in 2010 to 80,411 in 2021).

Relapse is common, not rare.  If you have tried traditional rehabs, and holistic rehabs and have relapsed once, or more you may be a good candidate for our “gentle taper and none-pharmaceutical withdrawal program) which was developed by Dr. Pourhassani, DACM, LAc, QME (referred to as Dr. Pourhassani for the rest of this article) in 2008.

Dr. Pourhassani may provide this service only after an evaluation and consultation with the patient.  The patient has to be deemed a good candidate.  The patient has to want to help, we do not force the patient to taper and withdraw.  We provide a gentle taper and reduction of withdrawal symptoms which stand in the way of the patient.

Suboxone is an addictive substance, In 2002, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) reassessed the potential for abuse of, diversion of, and addiction from a Schedule V to a Schedule III drug, thus increasing the penalties for illegally obtaining, possessing, or abusing buprenorphine.   Schedule V have the least addictive substances, the DEA found Suboxone (buprenorphine) to be more addictive.

Dr. Pourhassani, DACM offers consultations for opioid, narcotic, Xanax, valium, Suboxone, and prescription steroids.  Withdraw with More Comfort.  This is NOT a holistic program, it is a taper and withdraw program. A relapse prevention program may be recommended after addiction is released.

Evaluation by Dr. Pourhassani, DACM is required. She will act as the primary on the case if she accepts the case.

Are you tired of relapsing again and again?  Tired of all the drugs you’ve been put on to get you off of another drug?!
